ボストン日本祭り支援金寄付のお願い
キックオフミーティングでファシリテーターをさせていただきました「ボストン日本祭り」がいよいよ４月２７日（土）２８日（日）の２日間開催されます。
ボストン日本祭りはアメリカ最大規模の日本のお祭りで、
今年は２日間で72,000名の現地アメリカ人の皆様にお越しいただきました。

ボストン日本祭りは、主催をボストン日本商業会（NPO）とし、コミュニティーのボランティアで運営されています。
開催に多くの費用を必要とします。

を理念として、私達は、ボストン日本祭りを開催しております。
そして、ボストン日本祭りを日本文化を愛するできるだけ多くの皆様の協力を得て、共に育てていきたいと考えております。
第８回ボストン日本祭りは２０１９年４月２７日（土曜日）と２８日（日曜日）の両日に渡りボストンコモンにて開催されます。

ボストン日本祭りは、東京市よりワシントンD.C.へ日米友好の桜の樹が送られてから１００周年を記念して２０１２年に第１回を開催して以来、毎年規模を拡大してまいりました。
２０１９年の今年は、ボストン市と京都市が姉妹都市提携を結んでから６０周年の節目の年となります。
そのお祝いを含め、今年のボストン日本祭りはこれまでで最大規模での開催を予定しております。
文化、学術の先端を走るボストンには、勉強や仕事のためにアメリカ各地はもちろん、世界中より多くの方々が訪れ滞在しています。
ボストン日本祭りはアメリカ国民をはじめ、世界中の方々に日本文化を知っていただく絶好の機会となります。
これまでも多くの皆様にご参加いただき、ご好評をいただいております。
私達は異なる文化の人々が日本文化を介して繋がり、お互いを尊重し、協力し合える関係を作るきっかけとなる「お祭り」を皆様と一丸となり今年も作りあげていきたいと考えております。
ボストン日本祭りはボランティアにより運営されており、２０１８年には約４００名の方々にご協力いただきました。
開催費用は企業や団体などからの協賛金と皆様からの支援金によって賄われています。
２０１９年ボストン日本祭りがより良いお祭りとなり多くの方々と友好の輪を広げることができますように、皆様からの暖かいご支援を心よりお願いいたします。
＄２０以上の支援を頂いた方にはフードブースでの待ち時間を短縮する”クイックパス”を日本祭り当日、現地でお渡しいたします（＄２０で２枚、以降＄１０毎に１枚）。

【Sponsorship for 2019 Japan Festival Boston】
We are thrilled to announce that we are hosting the 8th Japan Festival Boston on Saturday, April 27th and Sunday, April 28th, 2019 at Boston Common (more information available at http://japanfestivalboston.org ). Japan Festival Boston has been evolving each year since the first event in 2012, when we commemorated the 100th anniversary of planting cherry blossom trees sent from Tokyo in Washington D.C. The size of the festival is going to be the biggest ever this year.
Japan Festival Boston strives for bringing the Boston community together. We aim to continue the festival for the next 100 years and beyond. This is how we would like to show our appreciation to Boston. We work toward growing the festival with the support from those who love Japanese culture.
Our goals are not achievable without your help.
Those who donated $20 or more is eligible for claiming "Quick Pass" which will cut your waiting time at food stalls during the festival (plus one extra ticket for every $10 donated beyond $20). Please include your name and email address when you donate*. We may ask you to show your ID upon collection of the "Quick Pass".
Boston is globally known for being ‘an art of state’ and ‘cutting edge’ city with its sophisticated culture and scientific researches, attracting people across the world. Japan Festival Boston provides a plenty of opportunities for a diverse population to immerse in Japanese culture. The reputation of the festival has been well received by a number of guests. Japan Festival Boston connects people from different backgrounds by presenting Japanese culture.
Japan Festival Boston is organized by volunteers (nearly 400 volunteers in 2018) and supporters including the city of Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We highly appreciate your individual donations to host a better event. We will connect people and expand their community network through Japanese food and culture.
The Japanese Business Bureau of Boston (JBBB), a sponsor of this event, is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization authorized by the government. Your donations, all of which will be spent for the festival, are tax-exempt in the U.S. We will publish financial statements on our website ( http://japanfestivalboston.org ) after the event.
